I was a partner in a retail cross stitch shop for 15 years. We added yarn two years ago. We closed in the fall of 2004. Now I will be exclusively an Internet shop.
I will be carrying Paton yarns and DMC crochet threads, books, and supplies both for knitting and crochet. We hope to add some other yarns as time goes on. I will be carrying counted cross stitch supplies (fabric, overdyed threads, books, & buttons). Please check our catalog pages for items and books available to us.
Special orders are always welcome. Please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to fill your need. Sometimes minimum ordering will influence our inventory but we want to be there for you.

PLACING AN ORDER
You can place an order by using our secure on line ordering process. Simply go to our catalog area and shop til your hearts content. If your order is a RUSH order please tell us. We will do our best to get it to you on time. If you have any other special instructions please let us know. We will do our best to honor them.
Payments: We will accept Master Card and Visa as payments. If your credit card is declined we will notify you. Please be sure to include the full card number, expiration date, and the name on the card. Please write legibly and check your numbers. No credit card information, except your receipt, will be in your package. If paying by Master Card or Visa your order will be shipped ASAP. All credit card information will be shredded before being disposed of.
Personal check orders will be held for 14 days until your check clears the bank. After you are an established customer and paying by check your order will be shipped ASAP.
Full payment, including shipping and tax is required for your order to be shipped.
SHIPPING: Your orders will be shipped U.S. mail. Shipping charges are on the order form. If an item is backordered we will contact you and either ship what we have and cancel the rest of our order or hold the order until the backordered item comes in.
Sales taxes will be applied when necessary.
LOST PACKAGES: We cannot be responsible for packages lost during shipping. If you would like it sent certified mail an extra fee of $4.00 will be added to the order.
If you misfigure your total, the item is a sale or clearance, or it has been discontinued we will include a refund slip or refund check with our order. Refund slips will be accepted on future orders. We reserve the right to eliminate an ordered item, so the money sent will cover your order.
REFUND POLICY: No yarn, books, fabric, threads, or special orders can be returned. Unless a return is authorized from The Yarn Closet & More we reserve the right to refuse delivery. If an item is accepted for return then a 15% restocking fee will be charged and freight will not be reimbursed.
DAMAGED GOODS: You must let us know within 24 hrs of receipt of merchandise. No returns for credit or replacement will be accepted with out prior authorization from The Yarn Closet & More. |
